Layered its easy :Stage 4 - Flowers

Hello everyone,
today i have a very soft and delicate card to share.Stage four of "Layered its easy" is to use flowers, not very difficult huh.Instead of adding lots of  dimensional flowers,i went for different materials,i added stamped, fussy cut,die cut, paper, lace and fabric flowers.Recently i came across a new brand:Bee shabby,a Russian company which makes most shabbilicious papers and coordinating embellishments. The papers are very soft and pretty,if you are a shabby chic lover you are in for a treat.I have used "Happiness collection" for my card.

This week was quiet stressful, couple of projects dint turn out as expected, this indicates that i need a break now but i dont see any in near future, but yeah  i have some exciting things coming up which i was working early this month,i really cant wait to share:).Hope next week turns out good, have a peaceful sunday.
See ya.

Book pages : Scrapki-wyzwaniowo challenge

Hello everyone,
we have a  new challenge over at "Scrapki-wyzwaniowo".This month theme is "Book pages".I made a Free style card with mixed media touches.I usually never stick down anything until i finalize it to the last detail, but for this card i just started gluing down layers of papers and kept adding details randomly. For the coloring part i used acrylic paints so that i dont need to worry about spoiling the papers.I have used 7 dots studio "Home grown" paper collection, just love the  pink/black /grey combo in this.Hope you will join us,you have time till end of the month and you can win some amazing 7dots  studios collection.

I really love how it turned out,it doesn't  happen often,i dont get convinced easily and try all the possible option with my composition before gluing down anything,so its like a miracle;),hope you like it too.
See ya all soon.

Prima cards

Hello everyone,
happy sunday, hope your day went well(or just started),have a great time rest of your day.I have a quick post to share today,i made these two cards for my Prima marketing "Guest designer" post last week,if you haven't checked it earlier, you can check it out HERE.I have used some of my favorite prima papers, flowers, die cuts etc.I love making cards, its like little piece of art,you can learn so much about composition and design elements than working on any other bigger surface, and it has lot of emotions to convey when you make it for someone.

Okay...thats all from me today,i have lots more to share in the coming week, see ya all very soon.

Dream catcher - Canvas

Hello everyone,
today i have a new mixed media canvas to share. So this canvas is like combination of different ideas, initially i wanted to make something with clocks and gears with rusty look, then i wanted to make it colorful, and then suddenly thought of adding some feathers, though i was so suspicious how feathers will go with gears, after finally adding the title dream everything made sense and wow it looked like a dream catcher too, lol. Dream catchers are so on trend now and i was meaning to make something related to it for long time ,so i am happy how it turned out, though not a delicate one as it was meant to be i am glad that i came up with my own version.
As i said i wanted to make it rusty and grungy first, then thought of making it colorful which dint workout. So i gave a coat black gesso again and used new "Patina effect" paste from finnabair. Thankfully it gave both the colorful as well as rusty look to the canvas.I have also used "Deco art metallic lustre turquoise" and iridescent silks violet. For highlights i used "Art alchemy wax vintage silks"
I made this for third stage of "Fabrika decoru" joint project. The challenge is to create project with atleast 30% of chipboard. My canvas is created with only chipboards,i have not used any other material.Apart from just dabbing a little of light paste onto the background for texture the whole effect is achieved just with chipboards and paints.
So here is my industrial/steampunk inspired dream catcher canvas with galaxy background and rust effect, hahaha i love it when different ideas combines together and gives a unexpected project instead of confusing me  as it does sometimes and yeah the beautiful chipboard designs are from 2crafty chipboard.
